JoAnne Lenart-Weary is a 45- year industry veteran, who was staging and redesigning before the terms were even coined. This experience led to the founding of what is now called The Decorating and Staging Academy in 1999. She has taught thousands over the years both on a professional and non-professional basis and is a frequent speaker for the decorating and staging industry.

JoAnne has appeared on HGTV, ABC-TV, and many regional TV segments around the country. She is the creator of many industry tools such as the Confident Consultation, Decorating in the Zone, the Confident Color System, and How to Decorate and Stage. JoAnne, along with Sandra Racz, is also the creator of Real Decorators and Stagers, an online community for Creative Professionals, serious about growing their business.
